Four weeks devoted to activities, fun and learning from our diversity in an inclusive and stimulating environment, supported at all times by educators. Our Summer Camp is aimed at young people, male and female, from 10 to 15 years of age, with Asperger’s Syndrome or level 1 autism, who have, or are awaiting, a diagnosis.
A chance to explore the local area and the community, spend time together and learn from our differences.
The camp will run five days a week, with a programme that is clearly structured but always open to incorporating suggestions and ideas from the young participants.
With practical activities such as Waldorf Watercolour, Rubik’s Cube, Street Gardening, Mind Maps, Bird Watching, Wood Working and Creative Electronics (Arduino), we engage in inclusion experiences and meetings, together.
TARGET: 15 young people, male and female, from 10 to 15 years of age, with Asperger’s Syndrome or level 1 autism, who have, or are awaiting, a diagnosis. The foundation will provide full or partial grants to families in financial difficulty.
